School of Basic & Remedial Studies

Bachelor of Science

The Federal University of Health Sciences and Technology, Tsafe (FUHSATT), as the first specialized Health Sciences and Technology University in Zamfara State, is committed to expanding access to quality higher education. The Northwest geopolitical zone remains one of the most educationally disadvantaged regions in Nigeria, characterized by low tertiary enrollment and widespread deficiencies in core science and language subjects.

To address these challenges, FUHSATT proposes the establishment of a School of Remedial and Basic Studies (SRBS). The SRBS will run a one-year intensive bridging program designed to remedy O’Level deficiencies in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and English, while preparing candidates for the UTME. Successful students will transition into FUHSATT’s degree programs.
